As your child prepares for their exciting first day of kindergarten, make sure their vision is ready for school too. A healthy eye exam is crucial for setting them up for success.
Through the Eye See…Eye Learn™ program, offered by the Manitoba Association of Optometrists (MAO), kindergarten children turning five during the year they start school are eligible for one free pair of glasses! This program is available from January 1 of the year they begin kindergarten, through June 30 of the following year.
Eye exams are covered by Manitoba Health for children under 19. Visit www.optometrists.mb.ca to find a local optometrist.
